At the Gate of Dreamland (updated) by weroni At the Gate of Dreamland (updated) by weroni
I used my usual - watercolors, black ink, white correction fluid, some markers and white gel pen... ;)

This is another painting I did in my livestream last week. Thank you every one who watched :)
It's a birthday gift for my sister - :iconimchristiee:

I'm going to re-upload it with a better quality pic next week

Why the title? I watched Alice in wonderland recently, and it made me think about how far can our imagination actually go, how can it help us get through our daily lives and maybe solve some complex problems but also how we have to stay firmly connected with the reality, no matter how bad or complicated it is. I find it sad that there's so many people who are too afraid to live their life, afraid to take some risks. (I like what JK Rowling sad - "It does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live.")

This artwork is so beautiful in so many ways. the colors is so beautiful are bright and pastel. You have a multitude of colors splash all as background with matches the girl in this drawing. The girl in this pic is so beautiful and lifelike. Every details of this is so perfect. It look likes a so lifelike and surreal at the same time. It just so perfect. This is beautiful! Your use of correction fluid to make intricate patterns is beautiful and unique, and your use of colors and patterns complements the subject well. Your subject is realistic and full of emotion, and her eyes are amazing. The only thing I would suggest is to balance out the slightly stronger background colors in the upper left hand corner with other stronger background colors. I love how, the longer I look at it, the more details I notice, especially in the white lines. The way your subject melts into the background at the bottom is also very well done.

not lately, I don't really try new things in the middle of the semester, because I'm really busy with school :) I want to, but I need more time for that ;)
